ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOU’.
I can start this post and say that this has not always been the case for me. Having the drive and spirit to fulfill my dreams was not always an option.
After years in a bad marriage to someone who felt my dreams should come in second to his wild excursions, I was never able to do anything but work two jobs and take care of the kids.
Finally, after years of saving money, I divorced and was finally able to pursue my own dreams. With two kids and a full time job, my dreams quickly fell to the waste side again.
One day I woke up and realized, “This is NOT what I want for my life.”
I started writing. I knew from early on I had always wanted to write. In grade school, I had a very vivid imagination and was always making up stories. My friends and classmates were always listening to the stories I made up and pushing me to become a writer one day.
Years after my divorce, I finally took the plunge and wrote my first book. It was scary and hard, and when I decided to publish it, it was even MORE scary!!
I contacted an editor that took me for a ride on my manuscript, and not knowing any better I felt it was ready to go. I one-day want to go back and re-edit my first book. However, the journey has been a wild ride. Everyday I learn something new about this Indie world.
I am so happy to be able to bring my stories to LIFE. I just wish I could do it quicker. I have amazing ideas for stories and I can’t wait to share them with the world. If you have ever wanted anything out of life….DO IT!!!
This is my mantra: This is the ONLY chance you get at this life, once it’s over it’s over….SO, take chances, be happy, DO WHAT YOU WANT!!!!
