MIND Banner

A fellow author whom I have got to know in Cyberworld over the past few years, Sarah Michelle Lynch, asked over 30 writers to join her (myself included) to raise awareness and money for the mental health charity MIND, a great cause which the upcoming Leeds Author Event is supporting on March 5th 2016.

Each author was asked to donate words. They were given free rein except to include the phrase ‘They Say I’m Doing Well’ within the body of the work.  I have managed to write nearly 1500 words, which you will be able to read about on 2nd March when Sarah publishes my blog.  On that day I’ll also be giving away 5 codes to obtain my new audio book ‘The Pilates Class’ free from Audible.co.uk.  The Pilates Class novella is free for Kindle this week, has had 922 downloads so far,  and is number 3 in Amazon.co.uk’s bestseller General Humorous Fiction list.

Join me throughout this month-long event for MIND.  Read inspiring, evocative and emotional stories, many of which are written from first-hand experience.  Read poems, short stories, and accounts of discovering and coping with a mental health problem.

Throughout the month of February, sarahmichellelynch.net is hosting 29 authors, all with stories, poems and articles to raise awareness of mental health/life issues.

Nobody should face mental illness alone.

AT LEAST £1 from each paperback sale will go to MIND UK (click link to find out more about this charity and how they’re helping to improve mental health services).
