Anita Dawes and Jaye Marie gave me an idea when I saw their blog showing the view from their window:
I thought I’d share the view of my garden that I look out on when I’m sitting at my computer. I’d love to see what all my blogging friends’ views are too as they sit there tapping away, so do leave a photo in the comments! Here’s mine…
The big tree in the back is in a field opposite, not in my garden. The stone on the window sill was a present from my 5 year old son many years ago which he found on Southwold beach and varnished. I use it as a paperweight. Sometimes I look out of the window and see a deer emerging from my den in the right hand corner behind the tree. Other times there are pheasants, partridges and ducks wandering about. If you look closely you can see a pigeon sitting on the electricity wire. The odd car goes past sometimes. It’s very peaceful…

A lovely view, Stevie. I don’t face the window when I write. I face my collection of vintage and antique dolls.

The view from my back window is very wistful because my favorite fixture is our pool and it is still covered by a big green cover. Ask me this time next month and I will have a happier description.

Thank you, Stevie – Wish I had a view, but alas nothing of that for me.
I would love to sit in your ‘office’. I would also like to thank you for sharing yet another post with us at Senior Salon.

Thanks Stevie. My office, is in my Kitchen, next to the oven, although I do have a kitchen back door, but not anything much going on in the back area, of a town house complex and a ‘small’ and I mean small back space containing a patch of grass and the garbage can. I do have a hummingbird feeder out and see the most gorgeous hummers from time to time in the afternoon/evening when I am here. Thanks for sharing again at Senior Salon.

Lovely view Stevie. It’s too cold and treacherous outside here now on day 3 of an ice storm. Nothing good to see out there, lol. 🙂

Wow. Apparently tomorrow and Thursday we’re expected to get temperatures in the region of 23 degrees Centigrade! I can’t wait to get to my van at the end of April.

It’s such a serene view you have there of the backyard. Your own little oasis. Great to reflect when blogging! 🙂

Thanks. It’s our front garden actually. We don’t have much land at the back – it’s all at the front!

I have a photograph of the view from my window, I wanted to show you, but have no clue how to include one in this comment…

Not sure. Perhaps email it to stevie@stevie-turner-author.co.uk or put it on Facebook?

Not sure if I know how to use the blue button! It needs URLS and things…

Put your photo on a WordPress blog, then look at the blog address right at the top of the page. Copy and paste that address into the link.

Right… I’m still not adept with links so thanks for the heads up!

My window is at the back of the house, and as well as all my bonsai trees, I can see a glimpse of the back garden too… There is a huge gum tree next door, and I seem to focus on this when trying to think, the swaying branches are very soothing…

What a lovely view. I have a view of a lemon and orange orchard from my terrace, where I spend a lot of time. No view from my office but that´s OK. Have a lovely Sunday!
