Today Sam and I were quite chuffed to have been able to walk the 2 miles uphill to the Tennyson monument at  Freshwater Bay, and then the hard part (for me anyway), the 2 miles down again, although helped greatly by my hiking sticks.  Living in flat Suffolk, walking hills has always been a challenge, but I think our legs have been toned by all the walking about at the festival over the last few days!

Then we visited Farringford House, where Lord Tennyson lived from 1856 until his death in 1892.

Lastly a well-earned green tea and lemon cake in the Delicia Café!
