Sunday Stills Photography Challenge – June 2nd.

This week the Sunday Stills photography challenge is hosted by Hugh at Hugh’s Views & News.   The topic is ‘Edge’.

I thought I’d share a photo of myself in 2016 on the edge of the cliffs at Tennyson Down, Isle of Wight.  I’m wearing my festival poncho, as the wind was quite bracing that day (that’s an understatement).  I needed the walking poles for the journey down again, as the quads weren’t as good then as they are now (I’ve since taken up cycling).

I love it up there.  Shame though that there’s no toilet or café at the top, just the monument to Lord Tennyson.  However, the cliffs are used daily by hundreds of ramblers and dog walkers.  It’s better when the sun’s shining!
