  1. Acceptance

Accept that the virus will run its course until we either achieve herd immunity or the majority of the population have been vaccinated. Accept that we have to wear masks in public places, and accept that it’s not a good idea to mix with people outside your own household. Accept that the rules in your neighbourhood apply to you as well as to everybody else.

2. Mindfulness

Be mindful that the new variant is highly contagious and can infect everybody, young and old. Be mindful that your health may suffer if you don’t take care to avoid its clutches. Be mindful that this is a temporary glitch and as Boris says, there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

3. Hope

Let’s all hope the vaccines will work and that we can get back to some sort of normality by Easter!
