Welcome to this week’s Sunday Stills. The topic today isj’Favourite holiday spot‘.
I’ve been to many countries, but to be honest I’m not much of a traveller and have always looked forward to going home. The weather (usually too hot) and the food (I only like plain food as I have allergies) are the reasons why, although I do enjoy sightseeing. However, my favourite spot as you probably already know, is the Isle of Wight where we have a caravan. I’ve added a gallery of photos below so that you can see what we like doing; hiking, cycling, attending the festival, and barbecues/going to the beach with the family.

Thanks Suzan, yes we’re okay. The Isle of Wight is a beautiful island, much favoured by holidaymakers. How’s the Covid situation where you are?

It’s not a bad place is it? I regret never going to the IoW Festival. I’d settle for a holiday anywhere in the sun right now. We have just spent a few days in North Wales and the weather was awful.. cold windy and rainy.

After 11 years of going to the delta for 5 months every weekend, it became our second home, Stevie, so I totally get your love for your favorite place! Your gallery is stunning and I can see what attracts you and keeps you there! Home away from home!

If you find somewhere you like as much as you love the IOW, there is no need for the modern-day stresses of international travel. Sometimes ‘what you know’ is what suits you best.
Best wishes, Pete.
