Today on Sunday Stills the topic is ‘Signs of Autumn’.
Yes, autumn is upon us here in the UK, although the weather is still pleasantly warm in the East of England but chilly in the early mornings and evenings. Many trees are losing their leaves already. I’ve added a couple of photos taken last year of lanes near our house so that you can see how autumn affects us in East Anglia.

Hey, you got autumn very fast. Here all the leaves are still on the trees. 😉 I hope you had a nice weekend, and will start into a beautiful week. Stevie! xx Michael

Lots of leaves, Stevie. Our park looks like this during the autumn too.

Oh my, how beautiful, Stevie. Your autumn path looks gorgeous! I love seeing the fallen leaved on the path!

Great photos, Stevie, they remind me of the village I grew up in.

We’ve lived here 30 years, but they’re starting to build more housing estates now. Not good.

My Dad took me for a drive around our old village when I stayed with him a few years ago. Completely unrecognisable, especially the new houses being built on what used to be crop fields at the bottom of our garden. Some change is good, but I agree with you on this one!

What they’ve done to our village and the surrounding villages is nothing short of criminal.

It seems to be happening everywhere. They call it ‘progress’ but I’m not so sure.

The season of mists and fruitfulness… I love autumn!

Me too. It’s not so hot, but then again you know there’s at least 5 months of winter ahead…

My back garden is starting to look like that already, and I can hear the acorns falling from the oak trees at night.
Best wishes, Pete.

We hear the acorns on caravan rooves at our holiday park, but thankfully not on ours any more.
