Ooh, yes, it is a little bit provocative, but here goes…
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE UNITED STATES IN REGARD TO RACISM? DO YOU SEE ANY WAY OF RECONCILING THE CONCEPTS OF WHITE REPLACEMENT THEORY AND CRITICAL RACE THEORY?
I cannot answer for the USA as I live in the UK, but what happens here I think is broadly similar. Back in the 1960s/1970s my mother used to tell me that one half of the world is trying to get into the other half, and it’s still true today. People in third world countries who have nothing see developed nations such as the USA and UK as rich. Every day in good weather hundreds of migrants make their way across the English Channel in dinghies or as stowaways on ferries in the backs of lorries. They are fleeing war, persecution and death and are seeking the golden British pavements they’ve heard about, but no doubt get a shock when faced with stark reality.
In reality many borough councils are bankrupt and cannot cope with demand from a population that has increased by nearly 20 million since the late 1940s/early 1950s, with total UK population set to hit 69 million by 2029. Council funding has been drastically cut, and services reduced especially in education, adult social care, highways, libraries, and refuse collection for instance. Thousands of elderly people are waiting for their care packages to start, as there are not enough carers. The cost of living has rocketed to a 40 year high, and inflation has hit 9%. An increased amount of people are seeking out food banks, as even if they do work they cannot earn enough to put food on the table as wages are not keeping up with inflation.
Nevertheless, migrants still come in their droves towards Dover, and doubtless will continue to come ad infinitum. They are given benefits and put up in hostels or often substandard housing while their claims are investigated and processed. The far left see this as a good thing, as many migrants are willing to fill job vacancies for aforesaid carers for example or do other low paid work. The far right see it as migrants taking jobs and benefits and living in council housing that should have been given to UK citizens. Riots/street fighting breaks out sporadically which is often racially motivated.
The crux of the matter is that people of any nation want food, water, shelter, and a means of earning a decent living. They don’t want to live in war-torn countries, and they’ll fight to get what they want. There will always be indigenous people who object to this, and so I don’t think there will ever be peace upon this earth.
Our Government in their wisdom have decided to ship migrants to Rwanda, and the Home Office has already started sending out deportation letters. This will obviously cause some migrants to disappear from Home Office radar, and others to attempt self-harm or suicide. In the end nobody wins except the lawyers, who are no doubt rubbing their hands with glee. I actually think there is no peaceful solution to the problem of one half of the world trying to get into the other half.
