Today on Sunday Stills Terri has chosen the theme of ‘Seeking Light‘.
There’s a couple of photos I’ve found that are suitable; the first one shows how 2 little sunflowers I planted follow the sunlight. The second one I took when we looked after Sheldon, our son’s tortoise, who seeks out the heat lamp at every opportunity!

Hi Stevie, Sunflowers are wonderful for seeking the light, I also featured some in my post. Love the tortoise 🙂

He’s lovely! The only creature that so far doesn’t make me sneeze and itch.

I love the tortoise under the sun lamp picture, Stevie. My sister has a pet tortoise and it is quite a lot of work as she has to bath it and it needs a special diet and care.

These are excellent examples of why Earth revolves around the sun, Stevie, we need light to live. I always enjoy watching the sunflowers seek the sun. Cool tortoise, he looks happy 🙂

As long as he’s got some lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes and his heat lamp he needs nothing else, lol.

I think that the second one is classified as an action shot …😁

Sheldon is so sweet. Pleased to see he has a heat lamp to enjoy in the cold months.

He’s hibernating at the moment, but comes out to play in February I think.

I love how Sunflowers move around during the day to follow the sun.
Poor Sheldon must have been feeling the cold! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

He’s always under that lamp. I like looking after him because he’s possibly the one creature that I’m not allergic to!
