Today on Sunday Stills Terri has chosen the colour challenge ‘Red‘.
I’ve added below a few photos of our church on Remembrance Day. The good ladies of the village toiled long and hard knitting all those red poppies, and the result was quite spectacular…

So pretty!

Oh wow! It’s like a huge artwork. Looks amazing in the pic but bet it is even more spectacular in real life. 👏👏🌼

Talented and dedicated folks knitting those red poppies! It must be something to see in person, and certainly emotional. Well-captured, Stevie!

Thanks Terri. Yes, every November they appear. It’s a wonderful sight to see.

Thanks Darlene. Yes, they are. Nothing to do with me though, as I’m not a knitter. I did try knitting jumpers back in the day, but they always turned out too big.

I’m not a knitter either. My mom was an excellent knitter. She was left-handed though so it just didn’t work when she tried to teach me.

Good choice for the challenge, and well done to those knitters.
Best wishes, Pete.
