Today on Sunday Stills the topic is a colour challenge – ‘Green – any shade’.
I’ve added some photos below of various places in England, showing verdant spring foliage. The first two are from a camping trip to Folkestone, Kent.

Abbey Gardens, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk
Not quite green yet there in the London shot, save for the wild grasses😁And a sort of palm tree in Kent! Who’d a thunk! Crazy…

There’s a few palm trees on the Isle of Wight too. They don’t seem to mind our changeable weather.

Thanks Robbie. We did have snow yesterday, but today it’s all gone.

Hi Steve, that’s one more day of snow than I’ve ever seen in Johannesburg.

I would imagine the UK is quite lush and green to the point of pain to the eyes, Stevie! Great shots of green!

It was and then we had a fall of snow yesterday. Luckily the sun’s been out today and melted it.

Our ‘Green and Pleasant Land’ is a good source for that word challenge. Greenwich Park was always one of my favourite places in London.
Best wishes, Pete.

Mine too. Myself and friends could walk to it (and frequently did) from the Ferrier.
