Today on Sunday Stills Terri has chosen the theme ‘Roads, Paths and Streets’.
Here below is the road leading up to our house. Fortunately it hasn’t changed in the 32 years we’ve lived here.

Here is Sam on a car-free path on the Isle of Wight that used to be a railway track until Dr Beeching got his hands on it.

Below is a nice little path that meanders underneath the Orwell Bridge in Suffolk.

And here’s the last one… St. Charles Street in New Orleans – a photo from our cruise in 2017.

Looks so peaceful there. 🙂 x

I love bike and walking paths. I also love St Charles Street in New Orleans.

Yes, and I remember Bourbon Street was very busy too. Lots of people throwing beads to us from upper balconies!

Did you go to Mardi Gras?

Yes, our cruise ship docked at Julia Street for a few days.

Our family went to Mardi Gras once. We didn’t spend time on Bourbon Street.

We wanted to look around the Lafayette Cemeteries too, but they were closed for Mardi Gras.

Was that the one in the Garden District or off Rampart Street? The one in the Garden District never seems to close. It is where Ann Rice got her inspiration for many of her novels.

Yes, in the Garden District. The guide showed us Ann Rice’s house.

I like that image of the Orwelle bridge (a road) over the quaint, rustic path! Well done on these, Stevie. New Orleans looks busy!

Thanks Terri. We went to Nawlins at Mardi Gras, so yes, it was busy!

I have been over The Orwell Bridge a few times, but never underneath it. 🙂 Good choices, Stevie.
Best wishes, Pete.

It’s a nice path. The span of the bridge across the river looks almost poetical.
