Today on Sunday Stills Terri has chosen the theme ‘Churches, Temples and Spiritual Centres‘.
Here in Suffolk, UK, you can bet that every little village will have a church or a chapel, or both. Our village is no exception, and here’s a couple of photos of our church in wintertime. The first one I’ve always liked; the spotlights shine and illuminate the gravestones, and there’s a kind of spooky atmosphere. The second one shows that a bit of winter sunshine can make all the difference. Click on picture to enlarge.

From eerie to bright. 🙂 x

I love that first picture, so atmospheric. Churchyards have great potential for interesting pictures.

Hi Stevie, this is a lovely looking church. It does have rather a Dickensy feeling about it.

It does, and that’s one of the reasons why I like living here.

In the nighttime of the daylight, both shots of your local churches look beautiful, Stevie. Snow brightens any scene, even the church! Cool shot of the cemetery.
