My publisher Creativia.org has two of my books on sale over the Christmas period:

The first one Repent at Leisure is a psychological thriller which made #46 on the ReadFree.ly’s list of the 50 Best Indie Books of 2016.  An excerpt also made the shortlist of the Escalator Writing Contest this year.  Repent at Leisure will be just $0.99 / £0.99 from Christmas Day to New Year’s Eve.

Plagued by a troubled upbringing, Paul McAdam wakes to find a mysterious woman in his bed, but has no recollection as from where she came. Cat Taylor worms her way into his life and eventually moves into his Edinburgh flat. This arrangement suits Paul quite well — until he meets Anita Fairfax. Wishing to marry, Paul tells Cat she has to go … something she does not do easily.

Then Cat is found dead in Paul’s apartment. Despite a lack of evidence, the police suspect Paul of murder. Anita willingly stands by her new husband, but doubt creeps in as his behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent …

“Told through alternating perspectives, Repent at Leisure is a masterfully written and engrossing psychological thriller”.

The second one is A Rather Unusual Romance, which is a ‘faction’ book; a mixture of fiction and fact.  The romance part of the book is fiction, but the procedures which both of my characters had to undergo are factual. I can verify these, as I lived through them myself back in 2005!  A Rather Unusual Romance will be $0.99 / £0.99 from 28th December – 3rd January.

Erin Mason, divorced and with two teenage sons, finds her world falling apart when she’s diagnosed with cancer. Not too far away somebody else, Alan Beaumont, is also suffering a similar fate.

Their paths slowly come together in this inspiring tale, which is partially based on actual events, and shows how love can flourish in the most unlikely of circumstances.

“Either Stevie Turner has done a lot of research or is writing from experience. I enjoyed the story and received an education at the same time”.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
