As we grow older we all realise there are things that we should have done differently, but we made the decisions we did when we were young and lacking the insight that comes with age. My biggest regret is thinking the dentist knew what he was talking about when I was a teenager, but really he was filling my teeth needlessly and taking lots of x-rays just to earn more money for himself, and bugger the consequences of thyroid cancer 35 years later. Great post ladies… you got me thinking!

Everyone keeps talking about a bucket list, all those things they want to do while they still can.

I have made a few of these over the years, but you can get a little fed up drooling over all those things you know you will never get around to doing.

I was thinking about this, wondering why we torment ourselves with the impossible. Why not make a list of all the things we shouldn’t have done instead?

Would it supply some kind of closure, to analyse our shortcomings, and dare I say it, our complete and utter failures?
