Sometimes when we’re busy it’s nice to simply leave a link to our blog or blog post and run, and so Friday Click and Run is just for that purpose. However, of course you can check out others’ links and share away if you want to. So… every Friday do add some info of what your blog is about and also a link to your blog or blog post in the comments if you’ve got a minute. You don’t have to do anything else such as sharing or commenting unless you really want to. Isn’t that cool? People may decide to check your link out, or they may not. They might decide to leave their own link and run as well, so you may meet each other heading out the door. If I see a post that’s a bit risqué, then I shall be running too – straight to the ‘delete’ button!
Fire away then… let’s see what we end up with. Thanks to the 8 bloggers who left their links last week.
Hi Stevie, and readers.
Here we are again. It’s not Friday where I am, but oh well, this is the moment I have free.
This week I’m busy with cover selection choices and options for my next collection – The New Asylum, which is stressfully enjoyable (or vice versa).
In the meantime, I’m keeping up a Poem-a-day project that I started this month (July 2019). Last time I did such a thing it went for 15 months and yielded work I’m still very pleased with and proud of.
Here is yesterdays: post: https://wp.me/p7yTr8-7dt
As always, thank you for this opportunity.

Thanks. Now if I could stop being interrupted by technical difficulties, I could get more done, lol 🙂 x

Robbie reminded me that my link didn’t work, hopefully this link works. Thank you.

That first rose is so beautiful, I’m not very good with roses; any we have were already in the front garden when we moved in 15 years ago, so quite old? A white rose suddenly flourished recently, with delicate pink markings gradually appearing.

Yes it works. A lovely garden, Miriam.

Today I though I would share the link to my website which I started long before I realised eveybody else was on WordPress. We had no idea what we were doing and ended up with two domains.. However, it is accessible to people who are not on WordPress and the most unlikely people tell me they have visited.

Not been able to be here for a while, as you know from yesterday’s post. Thanks as ever for doing this, Stevie. For those who have been missing out, here’s that post: https://wp.me/p2FNZK-1gq

Morning. It’s Friday. Let’s have fun with old English measures. https://notesfromtheuk.com/2019/07/12/britain-goes-metric-except-where-it-doesnt/

Enjoyed reading this Ellen. I still use Imperial measures for weight.

Thanks, Stevie. Bizarrely enough, since I’m a disaster with numbers, I use the imperial system, the American version of it, and metric when I bake. I’m equally bad with all of them, so I don’t suppose it does much damage to have all three running around the house.

I’m almost number illiterate. Terrible.

I’m looking forward to reading this as we emigrated to Australia not long before their money went metric – followed by everything else – they just DID it with apparently little fuss.

How wise. Make it look easy and people will think it is. People of a certain age here still say, when they’re baffled about something, “What’s that in old money?”

Stevie, are you still collecting articles for your next anthology? Do you have any themes in mind?

My next anthology will be winners from my Share Your Short Story contest when I have enough of them.
